She has great admiration for legendary jewellers in the contemporary movement, including Otto Kunzli and Manfred Bischoff- designers who understand that jewellery is wearable art. When talking about her favourite pieces, she recalls a very specific commission. The client wanted to gift his friend with something beautiful, simply because life hadn’t been easy for her. The sincerity and selflessness of this act still amazes her to this day.

Her business aspirations extend to educating others on the enormity of the trade. She wants to show aspiring jewellers that dedication is the only route to success in the jewellery industry. The little time she has left after designing and manufacturing jewellery, photographing pieces, creating content for her business or developing her skills, she spends in the kitchen or garden. Her love of gardening reflects who she is as a creator- she knows that there is always something new to learn and adores how her garden is never really “done”.
