To help you keep your jewels sparkling and looking brand new, here are a few care tips:

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Try not to wear your jewellery while cleaning or gardening. Chemicals in detergents, bleach, or fertilisers can cause lasting damage — especially to delicate metals and finishes.

No Swimming with Jewellery

Both chlorine and saltwater can weaken your jewellery over time. It’s best to remove your pieces before heading into the pool or ocean to prevent breakage or stone loss.

Clean Gently

Every few weeks, use hand soap and a soft toothbrush to gently clean your jewellery. Avoid toothpaste or strong detergents — if it’s too harsh for your skin, it’s too harsh for your jewels.

Buff Before Wearing

Each Joyberry Jewels order includes a polishing cloth. Use it to gently buff your jewellery before wearing to reduce tarnish and revive the sparkle.

Store It Safely

Always store your jewellery in a closed box or pouch when not wearing it. This helps prevent scratches, tarnishing, and accidental damage.

Book an Annual Service

A yearly service keeps your jewellery in top shape. We’ll clean, re-plate, and check your stones to ensure everything’s secure and sparkling.
